The Science of Self Defense!

The reasons for studying the martial arts have changed over the years.  Gone are the days of bullies taking Karate classes just to pick on others. Martial arts students don't stand in front of a mirror and flex while breaking bricks with their heads. The martial arts are more often referred to as Self Defense rather than Karate. More and more people are looking to diversify their training and get more out of their time spent on learning. This is where Ethereal Arts can help. Put simply people want more for their time and money.

• "I want to train more than the 3 times a week that other school offers"  (your choice of up to 5 classes per week)

• "What about other arts? Do you offer more than one?" (we offer 8 including 2 types of Yoga, NIA, and kickboxing to be added soon)

• "Do you take beginners?" (yes, all levels of students are welcome)

• "Do you teach adults or kids?" (both. each age group has its own class.)

• "Is it safe for Me / My child?" (yes, both safe and fun. come in and take a free class, meet the staff and other students. see for yourself.)

• "I see that you teach weapons. Will my child be learning weapons?' (weapons are only taught to blue belt and up after about 2 full years of training, and only with parental permission.)

• "My interest is more fun and exercise than martial arts." (while we take our training seriously we also like to have fun, in fact many students become friends while training here.)

Of course this is only a small list of questions from students. People want to know if we are professional and qualified instructors. They want to know if / how we are better than some other school and how will the martial arts help me? These decisions are up to you.
